(hereinafter referred to as "we", "our" and "us")

We only collect personal data about visitors (hereinafter referred to as "you", "your" and "yours") in cases where this is relevant, and we will only collect data if it is relevant to your activity at PICOPUBLISH ApS.

When collecting, processing, and using your data, we always comply with all relevant laws and regulations.

We will only store your data as long as we are either subject to a legal obligation to do so, or as long as it is relevant to the purpose for which it was collected.

1. Collection and processing of personal data

If you wish to make use of any of our offerings, we need to collect and process certain data in order to offer you our services.

We may obtain information such as - but not limited to - e.g. name, company name, email address, address, and telephone number.

PICOPUBLISH ApS collects and processes your data in the following cases:

1.1. Visit our website

When you visit our website and you consent to the use of cookies, information about your use of the website is automatically collected; e.g. about the type of browser you use, the search terms you use, your IP address, including your network location, and information about your computer, tablet or mobile. The purpose of this is to optimize the website's function and user experience, as well as potentially conduct targeted marketing, including retargeting via Google, YouTube, LinkedIn and Facebook. 1.2. Subscribe to our newsletter

If you have signed up for our newsletter during your visit to our website, and given your consent, we will process your name and e-mail address so that we can send you newsletters. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link in the newsletter or by writing to us. We process your information until you unsubscribe and store documentation of your consent for 2 years after we last used your consent, cf. the Danish Consumer Ombudsman. The legal basis used for this is found in Article 6 (1) (a) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Your consent implies that we may send you emails about relevant products, promotions, contests, and marketing. We send out an average of two newsletters every month. We may phone you regarding particularly relevant information regarding products. We rarely phone the recipients of our newsletters.

We may share data about you and your activities within the company and use such information to send you relevant emails.

We may collect and use data about you and your activities and link such data with other information we already have or receive from other sources, e.g. cookies from our website, i.a. to create a profile that can target inquiries to you.

In the future, if there are other relevant products, partners, or ways of communicating, we can use this consent to inform you and ask you if you want to update your consent or data about you.

Your data will be stored by us. You can always contact us if you have questions or wishes regarding data about you and your activities. As mentioned, you can always revoke your consent by clicking on the 'unsubscribe' link at the bottom of the newsletters or write to us at info@picopublish.com.

1.3. Contact us via contact forms on our website or via e-mail

When you contact us via the contact forms on our website or e-mail, we process your personal information to the extent that you provide it to us. We process your information in order to provide the requested service and thereby meet your inquiry. The legal basis used for this is found in Article 6 (1) (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, as it is in our interest to answer your inquiry.

1.4. Are a customer

When you are a customer, we store your payment and contact information for the purpose of being able to communicate and invoice you / your company. This is a necessity in order to enter into an contract with you and provide agreed services. We retain information for use in the accounting material for 5 years after the end of the customer relationship, cf. the Danish Bookkeeping Act. The legal basis used for this is found in Article 6 (1) (b) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

2. The data controller

PICOPUBLISH ApS is data controller for the data we collect on our website.

We never act as a data processor on behalf of our customers. As our primary service to our customers is Software solutions for: product data, system structure and web data processing and thus does not deal with "processing personal data", it is not necessary for customers, as data controllers, to enter into a data processor agreement with us (cf. The Danish Data Protection Agency's Guidance on data controllers and data processors, section 3, no. 3.1.).

3. Other recipients of data

We do not sell your data to third parties, and we only use data processors in the EU or secure third countries. LeadFeeder is used as a data processor in the EU (for data collected via cookies). SendGrid (e-mail marketing / newsletters), Google (for data collected via cookies), YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn (data from our social media) are used as data processors in countries outside the EU.

4. Your rights

As the registered person, you have a number of rights, which we must ensure fulfillment of at all times. You have the right to request us the following:

  • Right to information (right of access) - You have the right to access the information we process about you and certain supplementary information.
  • Right of rectification (correction) - You have the right to have incorrect information about yourself corrected.
  • Right to deletion - In certain cases, you have the right to have your personal information deleted.
  • Right to restrict processing - In certain cases, you have the right to have the processing of your personal data restricted.
  • Right to object - In certain cases, you have the right to object to our otherwise lawful processing of your personal data.
  • Right to data portability - You have the right to have your personal information disclosed in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.

In addition, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data and you have the right to file a complaint with a data protection authority.
